The 2016 CIPR Education Journalism Awards have received a record number of entries this year with a staggering response from the sector.
Journalists submitted their best work across 10 categories. This year saw the introduction of two new categories – one for ‘Editorial Excellence’ and the other for ‘Outstanding Business and Professional Education Journalism’.
The judging process has now commenced and entrants will find out if they have made it through to the awards ceremony by mid-October, with the big night set for Thursday 17th November.
The Education Journalism Awards represent a unique opportunity to be recognised for education sector-specific work. Multiple-award-winning journalist, Stephen Exley from TES Global, tells us about his experience:
“I’m proud to have won a number of CIPR Education Journalism Awards in recent years. I very much appreciate the recognition by PR colleagues we all work with on a daily basis, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the awards as a prestigious way of rewarding powerful journalism, and an excellent opportunity to meet useful contacts.”
